Public Relations & Media Engagement

  • Identify and pursue speaking, award, and publication opportunities for the Suffolk Technologies team.
  • Partner with portfolio founders and marketing teams to promote key milestones such as funding announcements, product launches, and media features.
  • Develop and guide case studies and pilot write-ups for distribution to operating partners.
  • Provide light-touch marketing guidance and resources to help portfolio companies amplify their visibility within the Suffolk Technologies network.
  • Highlight portfolio success stories through newsletters, content features, and events to showcase ecosystem impact.

Community Engagement & Analytics

  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Engage with our online community through thoughtful responses, conversation building, and amplification of key content.

  • Track and report event ROI, measuring impact on brand awareness and community growth.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in content marketing, communications, or community engagement, ideally within venture capital, technology, or startups.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across digital formats.
  • Proficiency in content creation and management systems (e.g., Mailchimp, LinkedIn Analytics).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and supporting founders.
