POSITION SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead brand creative for our rapidly expanding Wearables portfolio, including AR/VR headsets, smart glasses, AI‑powered devices, and future form‑factors. This leader will define the creative vision that brings our client’s wearable technologies to life—shaping how the world experiences the intersection of hardware, software, and AI in everyday life.
The ideal candidate is a world‑class storyteller with a deep understanding of product design, culture, emerging tech, and integrated brand ecosystems. You combine strategic excellence with hands‑on creative direction across film, digital, experiential, retail, and product‑led brand expression. You thrive in ambiguity, move quickly, and collaborate seamlessly with product, marketing, research, and external agency partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Leadership
- Lead the creative vision and articulation of the Wearables brand across campaigns, product launches, and always‑on storytelling.
- Drive concept development from insight to execution across global markets and channels.
- Craft breakthrough creative platforms that showcase how wearables integrate immersive technology, AI, and human connection.
- Uphold a cohesive brand identity across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency while enabling innovation.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product Marketing, Hardware Design, Engineering, and Comms to bring complex technologies to life in simple, emotionally resonant ways.
- Guide and inspire a team of art directors, writers, designers, and external agency partners.
- Collaborate with Research and Insights teams to translate user behavior and audience understanding into strategic creative solutions.
Execution & Craft
- Oversee end‑to‑end creative development—from initial conceptual narratives to final production.
- Lead high‑profile product launch campaigns, including hero films, product videos, experiential activations, retail environments, and digital/social content.
- Maintain world‑class craft standards across storytelling, visual identity, motion design, sound design, and user experience.
Innovation & Cultural Relevance
- Identify and shape emerging creative opportunities across AI, AR/VR, wearables, and new forms of interaction.
- Ensure Wearables stays at the forefront of culture by partnering with creators, cultural voices, and innovative production partners.
- Push the boundaries of creative expression by experimenting with new formats, technologies, and creative tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in creative leadership roles within brand, advertising, design, or integrated creative organizations.
- A portfolio demonstrating world‑class creative thinking across product storytelling and multi‑channel brand experiences.
- Deep experience in tech, consumer electronics, gaming, or wearable products.
- Proven ability to lead large‑scale, integrated campaigns from concept to delivery.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team mentorship skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on emerging technology products or hardware ecosystems.
- Expertise in brand identity systems, motion design, and digital‑first storytelling.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into simple, human‑centered narratives.
- Experience operating in fast‑paced, highly cross‑functional environments.
