Position Summary Are you a strategic marketer who thrives at the intersection of creativity, data, and execution? Winter Park Resort seeks a Marketing Manager to lead initiatives across social media, paid media, and content marketing. This role blends hands‑on execution with big‑picture strategy, ensuring our brand stories connect with the right audiences at the right time and through the right channels.

The Marketing Manager will oversee channel planning and execution across social (organic + paid), digital content, and campaign initiatives, aligning closely with resort goals. They will develop integrated campaigns, optimize performance, and ensure brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints.

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Creative Strategy & Content and plays a key leadership role on a collaborative, insight‑driven marketing team.

Essential Duties Creative Paid Media Collaboration & Strategy

Plan, manage, and optimize paid media creative campaigns across social and digital platforms.

Use channel knowledge and insights to guide targeting, creative selection, and campaign testing.

Partner with agencies and internal teams to align paid strategies with broader marketing goals.

Monitor performance metrics, share insights, and recommend improvements to boost ROI.

Oversee a content calendar for consistent posting and timely campaign execution.

Social Media Strategy & Management

Lead development and execution of social media strategy for Winter Park Resort and Trestle Bike Park.

Manage content calendar to support campaigns, product launches, events, and brand storytelling.

Handle community engagement, fostering guest relationships and protecting brand voice.

Collaborate with Content, PR, and other partners to produce compelling content.

Stay current on platform trends and test new formats and strategies.

Content Development & Distribution

Oversee creation and distribution of blog, web, and supporting copy that drives traffic and enhances SEO.

Ensure content supports social and paid efforts while maintaining brand alignment.

Partner with product and events teams to highlight seasonal offers and promotions.

Collaborate with creative and photo/video teams to guarantee high‑quality content.

Messaging & Copywriting

Write and edit copy for ads, social posts, blogs, email, and web.

Provide messaging frameworks and templates for consistency across campaigns and products.

Support internal or freelance contributors with direction and editing.

Analytics & Optimization

Use analytics platforms (Meta Business Suite, Sprout, Google Analytics, Tableau) to monitor performance.

Deliver regular KPI, engagement, and revenue impact reports.

Apply insights to refine strategies and optimize results.

Leadership

Manage, mentor, and develop the Social Media & Content Specialist.

Foster a collaborative, creative, and accountable marketing culture.

Partner cross‑functionally with operations, product, PR, and guest services.

Lead marketing initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with resort goals.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in social media management, messaging, and professional marketing.

Experience in hospitality, travel, or experiential brands preferred.

Passion for outdoor activities and strong connection to mountain lifestyle highly desirable.

Wage Salary Range: $67K to $76K annually. Actual pay will vary based on experience, education, and responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move a minimum of 40 pounds occasionally.

Manual dexterity to operate computer and common office equipment constantly.

Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, and mobile devices constantly.

Work extended periods sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking constantly.

Work extended periods standing, walking, kneeling, pushing, and pulling occasionally.

Continuous talking and hearing during communication with guests and employees.

Working Conditions

Primarily indoor, with occasional on‑mountain work. Exposure to harsh weather conditions.

Moderate noise level.

Minimal travel primarily local.

May require evenings, weekends, and holidays.
