Responsibilities
Design projects in Revit, focusing on commercial, mission‑critical, data centers, and multi‑family housing.
Manage and mentor junior staff, fostering an environment of encouragement and growth.
Prepare construction documentation and technical coordination with MEP partners.
Create renderings and construction documents for various project types.
Engage in heavy emphasis on construction documentation and technical coordination.
Essential Skills
3 years of architectural experience.
Proficiency in architectural material and systems detailing, and envelope systems design.
Experience with construction administration, codes, and regulatory processes.
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred.
Work Environment Work in a Class A office space located in Harbor East. The position offers limited remote work options. Employees are expected to commute to the office daily, with exceptions for family, school, or quarantine needs. The company maintains a mid‑sized office feel with 130 employees, emphasizing a family atmosphere. Job Type & Location Permanent position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70,000 – $95,000 / yr.
2 weeks equal to 80 hours of paid vacation; accrued hourly per pay period from date of hire.
3 paid days of personal time off; accrued hourly per pay period from date of hire.
5 paid days (40 hours) of sick days.
8 paid company holidays per calendar year.
Health Benefits: CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield PPO (health, dental, vision) with Ci Design covering 75% of individual policies, 50% of individual plus one, or 45% of family policies.
Long‑Term Disability (LTD): 60% of basic monthly salary up to $8,000 / month.
Term Life insurance at 1× salary (100% paid by Ci Design).
Short‑Term Disability (STD): 60% of salary up to $1,500 / week, employee pays cost.
401(k) retirement plan through Empower Group; Ci matches up to 4% of employee wages.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA); eligible after 3 months.
Commuter Assistance Program; Ci contributes $40 / month toward commuting expenses.
Professional Licenses & Membership: annual dues for 1 state license and 1 professional membership paid by Ci Design after 3 months.
