What To Expect

Lead and mentor a growing team of designers.

Balance UX research with a robust design framework to create impactful designs that balance form and function.

Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to understand user requirements, business goals, and technical constraints.

Foster an iterative design process that includes rapid prototyping, attentive listening, adaptability, and integration of feedback.

Serve as the final review point for the design team during the PDLC process.

Use, contribute to, and evolve design systems and component libraries.

Bring modern, agile, product‑discovery design processes to the team leveraging AI.

Requirements

5–8+ years of experience with at least three years in a lead product‑design role or design manager role, preferably in a startup environment.

Versatile design skill set that encompasses user research, systems thinking, wireframing, and visual design. Perfection isn’t the goal, proficiency is important.

Ability to maintain focus and make decisions without perfect information.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desire to be hands‑on with our product and process, and lead the team by doing.

Experience with maintaining and implementing design systems.

Experience in designing & prototyping using Figma.

Experience in a vertical SaaS company is a strong plus.

Tactical Responsibilities Will Include

Design: Execute a comprehensive design strategy to meet and exceed adoption targets.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and providing solutions that drive value.

Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies.

Process: Experience with design platforms and best‑in‑class practices.

Values: Articulate the unique value proposition of our solution and tailor it to the specific needs of each customer.

Collaborate: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to gather insights and ensure a seamless customer experience.
