Customer Speaker Program Marketing Manager
to join our consulting team supporting a large global technology client in the cloud and events ecosystem.
This consultant will drive the end-to-end management of customer keynote speakers, reference program activities, and high-visibility live event engagements across global marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings strong program management rigor (60% PM-heavy), exceptional organizational and process-building skills, and experience collaborating across technical, events, PR, legal, and creative teams.
This opportunity offers the chance to influence customer storytelling strategy, support major keynote and event programming, and work directly with senior stakeholders across a globally recognized technology brand. Candidates should have a minimum of five years supporting program management, events, live-program operations, or speaker/reference programs for a large global technology company or enterprise organization.
Must have demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs, owning timelines and workback schedules, and delivering high-quality results in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities
Drive the end-to-end execution of customer speaker programs, keynote engagements, and reference activities.
Develop scalable program processes, including nomination workflows, timelines, intake procedures, and approvals.
Build and maintain workback schedules, trackers, project documentation, and operational workflows.
Oversee program budget allocation and tracking for customer speaker and event activities.
Lead recurring syncs, drive accountability across owners, and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management
Partner closely with senior leadership and teams across events, PR, legal, creative, technical, and comms.
Manage relationships with customer speakers, ensuring readiness, alignment, and a seamless engagement experience.
Collaborate with global event teams on keynote programming, breakout sessions, and live-event execution.
Strategic Operations & Process Improvement
Identify operational gaps and develop process improvements to enhance scale, quality, and efficiency.
Review program metrics and speaker pipeline data; recommend improvements for future cycles.
Create templates, documentation, and tools that streamline repeated workflows.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Must have 1+ years of experience working at Amazon as a contractor or full-time employee
5+ years of experience in program management, event management, or marketing operations
Experience managing budgets of
$500K or greater
Proven success in cross-functional collaboration within a matrixed organization
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Smartsheet, Asana, or similar PM tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with customer speaker programs, reference programs, or executive storytelling
PMP certification or formal PM training
Experience operating in a global, matrixed enterprise
Ability to influence without direct authority
Experience implementing process improvement methodologies
