Senior Designer (Newborn Apparel, Accessories & Toys)

Position Type: Full-Time / Onsite 5x a week

Salary Range : 90-115K

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Dreamgro is growingand were looking for a Senior Designer with deep experience in newborn and infant apparel & accessories to help shape the future of our product lines. This is a senior-level role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong fashion and color sensibility, and is excited to lead design initiatives from concept through production

• Lead and manage line plan implementation
• Assign and relay projects to the design team; oversee workflow
• Create and manage tech packs with precision
• Conduct trend, market, and color research
• Help organize and implement new department protocols
• Design silhouettes, colored CADs, and presentation materials
• Serve as a key partner to the Creative Director to bring vision to life
• Act as a liaison between product and packaging teams
• Collaborate with Spec Tech and Production to stay aligned on approvals
• Facilitate color selections and art sizing
• Ensure compliance with all brand and retail guidelines
• Lead special-request design projects as needed
• Set up line presentations and buyer presentations
• Manage sample and fabric handoffs for overseas sourcing
• Communicate effectively with the production team throughout the process
• Perform related duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

• Senior-level experience in childrens wear (required)
• Strong understanding of the baby and childrens market
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
• Excellent communication skills and detail orientation
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative, positive attitude and leadership approach
• Strong fashion, aesthetic, and color sensibility

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors Degree in Design, or a related field; with 6+ years of experience
