We’re looking for a skilled, certified Government Proposal Writer to join our contracting team and play a key role in delivering elite research, client guidance, and technical writing support. If you have a strong background in government operations, economic or policy research, and proposal development, and you thrive in a remote or hybrid work environment, this role was built for you.
As a core member of our procurement support team, you will help our Government Procurement Advisors provide high-quality, winning proposal writing services for clients pursuing government contracts. Your expertise will directly influence client outcomes and drive real impact.
Qualifications:
- Shipley Certified or APMP Practitioner/Professional
- Demonstrated experience in high-level research, technical writing, or consulting
- Strong working knowledge of FAR clauses and their practical application to client engagements
- Exceptional organization, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to take complex requirements or data and translate them into clear, cohesive, persuasive content
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Tech-forward mindset; quick to learn new tools (familiarity with CRMs and project management systems is a plus)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on federal and state programs, policies, procurement trends, and relevant market data
- Develop clear, compliant, and persuasive proposals in response to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
- Produce summaries, briefs, and research reports to support internal strategy and client consulting sessions
- Join client meetings alongside procurement advisors, contributing insights and helping shape proposal strategy
- Stay up-to-date on government contracting regulations, FAR requirements, and industry best practices and apply that knowledge to strengthen proposal quality
