In this position

The Audience Strategy Manager will lead the strategic development and execution of audience segmentation and profiling to inform marketing and media plans for both Ford and Lincoln brands. This role involves spearheading audience creation for deployment across paid media and owned marketing channels, and serving as the primary business lead for audience‑led marketing technology, including managing vendor relationships and scope of services. A key focus will be on enhancing the reach of paid media campaigns to priority audiences, ensuring alignment with Marketing objectives, and communicating audience strategies to diverse stakeholders. This leader will also collaborate with measurement teams to optimize audience performance and actively seek efficiencies through cost avoidance.

What you’ll do

  • Lead audience segmentation strategy and profile development used to inform messaging/media plans
  • Lead audience creation for deployment across paid (media) and owned (website) marketing channels for Ford and Lincoln
  • Serve as the primary business lead for audience‑led marketing technology, consult on contracts/POs, manage the scope of services/deliverables (e.g. Experian, TransUnion)
  • Increase the ways in which our paid media campaigns can reach focus/priority audiences
  • Ensure personal and team objectives support our Ford marketing objectives, including monitoring and communicating performance toward objectives to leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Communicate audience strategies across client and partner stakeholder groups, and onboard/educate new stakeholders about our audience planning approach
  • Actively seek out efficiency through cost avoidance/waste elimination
  • Work with internal and agency measurement teams to ensure we have the right data/signals to measure/analyze/optimize our audiences within paid media campaigns

You’ll

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of working with 1st and 3rd party data partners
  • 5+ years working with addressable audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience leading and influencing cross‑functional teams toward shared business goals

  • 5+ years experience working within a large‑scale company and highly matrixed environment
  • Proven ability to apply technology solutions to creatively solve business and operational challenges
  • Solid understanding of business analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, and program management
  • Experience managing agency/partner teams
