Marketing and Communications Student Photographer

Description/Duties

• The student event photographer is expected to produce photographic content (portraits, action shots, etc.)
• The Photographer must work in a timely manner.
• The student event photographer is responsible for not only taking photos but also editing photos, uploading the best shots and keeping organized digital folders.
• The photographer is responsible for attending each (weekly) editorial staff meeting.
• The photographer should be able to bring ideas to brainstorming sessions, follow up on tasks, and work semi‑independently.
• Photographers must have an up‑to‑date understanding of photo editing and photo editing platforms.

Stipulations

• Must be a registered La Sierra student.
• Must complete Student Authorization Form via Etrieve with Silvia Stenner (Office of Student Life).
• Must have received Work Clearance Approval from Human Resources before taking on assignments.
• Must be familiar with Square Space.

Expectations

• Photographer is not to exceed more than 6 hours clocked in per‑pay period (2‑week pay period).
