The Marketing Data Science team for Intuit's Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) is the engine that powers the data-backed insights and recommendations that accelerate customer growth for the business. We drive the data instrumentation, AI/ML models, experiments, and analysis that underpin our understanding of marketing performance and translate data into action.

The GBSG Marketing Data Science team is looking for a Senior Manager to run Paid Media Data Science for Mailchimp. We are looking for someone that has a passion for meeting the needs of small businesses and can seamlessly blend strategic marketing with advanced data science tools and techniques to unlock growth. This person should be a leader that thrives in empowering and growing others, loves moving fast, and is excited by solving complex business problems.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of marketing data scientists in forming comprehensive marketing measurement roadmaps and learning plans across both short and long term business outcomes

Execute measurement plans against the entirety of the Mailchimp media investment, as well as distinct campaign and channel initiatives, leveraging existing marketing measurement models, experimentation, and ad-hoc analytics

Drive the perspective of marketing performance in relation to business/marketing goals and financial forecasts with the ability to decompose product and channel performance, assess drivers, and deliver strong data-backed POVs with action plans to drive incremental customer growth and revenue

Shape forward looking measurement capabilities work by partnering with internal DS teams to innovate and improve the portfolio of AI/ML marketing models and measurement tools

Manage a team of 3-4 data scientists, developing team skillsets and championing individual growth, as well as managing work prioritization, intake, and delivery

Qualifications

7+ years of experience delivering data and analytics solutions and roadmaps for marketing organizations

Experience leading teams of data analysts or data scientists with a strong ability to coach and develop others

Strong expertise in product marketing strategy, corporate strategy, and/or finance

Domain knowledge of paid media channels and marketing technology stacks including tag implementation, ad servers, media platform attribution

Deep expertise in incremental marketing measurement models, experimentation, and other methods of assessing causal lift and the use of combinations of tools to drive performance assessments

Proven ability to organize and lead cross-functional analytical projects end-to‑end

Strong data storytelling skills and ability to influence senior leaders

Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Applied Math, Data Science, Business Analytics or related) or business/economics (MBA)
