Senior Manager, U.S. Marketing Strategy & Operations
Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement, Chicago, Illinois, United States, 60290
Application Deadline: 12/19/2025
Address: 320 S Canal Street
Job Family Group: Marketing
You’re a dynamic, capable, experienced storyteller and strategic thinker with a strong appreciation for branding and marketing—even if you don’t consider yourself a "marketer" today. You’re fascinated by consumer behavior, know how to visualize data to tell compelling stories, and can produce persuasive, data‑driven executive‑ready presentations that change minds and win support. You’re able to turn that presentation around in 24 hours, because you’ve done it dozens—if not hundreds—of times in a consulting firm or similar environment. You bring together multiple ideas and data points, synthesizing them into a unified point of view even when ambiguity exists, and others seek your advice on their own decks and leadership presentations because yours are just so good. Most importantly, you want to be part of a culture of ideas, fun, and learning with smart, hilarious people who do some of the most exciting, successful work in banking and marketing.
As part of the U.S. Banking marketing team that supports our personal, commercial, and wealth businesses, the role will collaborate with the U.S. marketing leadership to develop and articulate the group’s strategic plan and associated initiatives. This includes gathering, interpreting and reporting information that helps stakeholders understand the role of the work we do and the results we generate on behalf of the bank, interpreting campaign performance, and providing planning, support and recommendations to improve operational effectiveness and track our achievements. You’ll also serve as strategic counsel to the U.S. Chief Marketing Officer, generating consistent communications for the CMO and the leadership team.
Must‑haves
Highly effective interpersonal skills to develop strong relationships
Strong written and oral presentation skills, with exceptional data‑visualization abilities using PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to create structure and define opportunities
Highly effective in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities
Ability to think strategically while working tactically
Well‑developed project and time‑management skills
Razor‑sharp analytical and problem‑solving skills
Strategy
Consult on initiatives that improve marketing performance
Communicate key insights effectively to different audiences, crafting compelling narratives and proposals
Lead and proactively participate in strategic brainstorming to develop frameworks that support decision‑making
Facilitate ideation sessions and inspire new ways of thinking
Develop PowerPoint presentations that influence and build business cases to secure alignment and move initiatives forward
Support the annual marketing planning process for the U.S. PCW marketing team, coordinating closely with the Enterprise/Integrated Marketing Planning team
Continuously improve marketing team operations through thought leadership and best‑practice implementation
Execution
Lead implementation of strategy and roadmap, deploying change‑management skills to ensure alignment and engagement of partners
Report results and outcomes to the marketing leadership team
Maintain business‑management and operational processes—including planning, performance tracking, technology funding, town‑hall preparations, team off‑site preparations, integrated marketing council preparations, and other necessary requests
Support the CMO by working with marketing leaders and business partners to plan presentations, content, speakers and topics for key internal and external communications
Assist the CMO’s senior leadership team in day‑to‑day stakeholder management and in strategic executive‑level communications to drive thought leadership and progress on the team’s mandate and objectives

Monitor best practices and competitor activities locally, globally and across industries to understand trends, forecast developments, and identify growth and innovation opportunities
Qualifications
Typically 7+ years of relevant experience
Undergraduate degree; MBA an asset
Solid knowledge of the banking industry
Extensive knowledge of strategic planning and execution
