Salary: $150,000 plus Noble House bonus plan
Overview
The Argonaut Hotel sits in the heart of SanFranciscos Fishermans Wharf, offering boutique luxury with breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island. As a highvolume, roomsdriven hotel with a significant catering operation, we seek a strategic leader to manage all sales and marketing efforts and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead daytoday management of the sales and marketing team.
- Execute proactive and reactive sales strategies for group rooms, corporate and leisure segments, and catering.
- Directly sell and manage business tied to citywide convention contracts, leveraging Moscone Center events and compression periods to maximize revenue.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Corporate Marketing to position the Argonaut competitively and achieve property revenue goals.
- Maintain an active sales portfolio while supporting team members with coaching and development.

- Sales & Marketing and Brand Positioning experience.
- Strong leadership, team development, communication and presentation skills.
- Negotiation, critical thinking, problemsolving, and analysis abilities.
- Excellent timemanagement and ability to multitask.
- Sales leadership and revenue strategy expertise.
- Client development and relationship management skills.
- Operational excellence and business acumen.
- Strategic thinking, leadership and coaching, client relationship development, result orientation, and technical and systems proficiency.
Education & Experience
Required: Proven hotel sales leadership experience with strong performance in group and corporate room revenue strategy.
Preferred
- Experience with citywide convention cycles and largemarket demand patterns.
- Knowledge of SanFrancisco demand drivers and competitive landscape.
- Experience within independent or lifestyle hotel brands.
Employment Options
- Option1: 2year degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field AND minimum 7years hotel sales experience, including at least 4years in a DOS/DOSM or senior sales leadership role.
- Option2: 4year bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related major AND minimum 5years hotel sales experience, including at least 2years in a DOS/DOSM or senior sales leadership role.
