ABOUT THE POSITION
We’re seeking a strategic Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. You’ll blend data-driven insights with creative vision to grow community, drive engagement, and spark authentic conversations around our brands. This role will expand social presence and visibility across two beauty categories.
The Social Media Manager connects brand purpose to platform culture through inspiring content, creator collaborations, and distinctive storytelling. Partnering closely with Brand Directors and external agencies, the role ensures PWC’s social presence builds awareness, loyalty, and measurable business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and execute organic social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other platforms for two beauty brands.
- Develop and oversee content calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns, and cultural moments.
- Track KPIs, maintain dashboards, and present monthly reports with insights to optimize performance.
- Define best practices for content formats (feed, Reels, Stories, Pins) to maximize engagement and reach.
- Link brand storytelling to commerce through shoppable content and retailer integrations.
- Collaborate with brand, creative, PR, and influencer teams to amplify messaging and drive community engagement.
- Oversee content creation and ensure alignment with each brand’s aesthetic and voice.
- Partner with Brand Teams on paid influencer and media initiatives to boost creator content.
- Manage external social media agencies to deliver timely, high-quality, on-brand content.
- Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends in beauty and social media.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in social media, content strategy, or creator management.
- Proven success in growing communities and delivering impactful brand storytelling.
- Strong knowledge of KPI tracking and platform-specific performance metrics.
- Creative instincts with ability to translate trends into compelling, social-first content.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Expertise in Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms, with understanding of algorithms and organic/paid synergy.
- Experience managing creators, content teams, and budgets.
- Collaborative mindset with passion for social innovation and consumer connection.
- Based in Los Angeles; able to work in-office 3 days per week.
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
