to elevate his public presence, strengthen his online voice, and strategically position him as a thought leader.
The ultimate goal of this role is to
build a powerful personal brand that attracts companies to him directly for hiring needs and high‑level search engagements.
Position Overview
The PR & Personal Brand Manager will work directly with the CEO to shape, develop, and execute a comprehensive personal branding strategy. This role blends content creation, public relations, digital presence management, and strategic storytelling.
The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, highly organized, and experienced in managing executive‑level branding. You will be responsible for ensuring the CEO’s brand is consistent, polished, and aligned with SSG’s growth goals—while amplifying his visibility so that
organizations naturally turn to him when they need top talent.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Brand Strategy & Lead Attraction
Build and execute a personal brand strategy designed to position the CEO as the go-to industry expert for hiring, recruiting, and organizational talent needs.
Create a compelling digital presence that encourages companies to proactively reach out for help filling roles.
Craft messaging that reflects the CEO’s voice, leadership style, and industry expertise.
Identify brand partnerships, speaking engagements, interviews, and media opportunities to increase inbound business interest.
Ensure consistent brand presence and reputation across all digital and public channels.
Social Media & Content Creation
Write and schedule high‑quality social content (LinkedIn posts, thought leadership, articles, videos, stories) on behalf of the CEO.
Develop content that highlights success stories, recruiting insights, industry perspectives, and credibility‑building achievements.
Manage content calendars, trends, engagement strategy, and brand storytelling.
Review analytics and optimize content to increase reach, credibility, and inbound business leads.
Coordinate and produce video content, podcast clips, and behind‑the‑scenes brand moments.
Public Relations
Create and pitch press releases, media kits, and PR stories centered around the CEO and SSG.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, podcast hosts, and industry media.
Secure opportunities that reinforce the CEO’s reputation as a top expert companies go to when they need to hire.
Monitor press mentions, interviews, and PR performance metrics.
Events & Thought Leadership
Coordinate the CEO’s involvement in conferences, fireside chats, webinars, panels, and community events.
Prepare talking points, bios, event briefs, and follow‑up materials.
Strategically position the CEO as a speaker and industry voice that attracts organizational interest and new business opportunities.
Executive Brand Support
Ensure all CEO‑facing communications reflect personal brand consistency.
Manage brand‑focused inbox communications and message drafting.
Partner with internal marketing to align personal brand initiatives with company branding.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, or related field.
3+ years of experience in PR, personal branding, executive communications, or social media strategy.
Exceptional writing skills with the ability to mirror tone and voice.
Experience growing personal/executive brands across social platforms, especially LinkedIn.
Strong understanding of brand storytelling and digital PR.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage confidential executive initiatives.
Highly organized, proactive, and deadline‑driven.
Video editing, graphic design, or content production experience is a plus.
