Role Description Technical Writer – Associate I - Engineering Design

The Opportunity

Develop clear written materials to support product development activities.

Work cross‑functionally with SMEs to collect product information and specifications.

Create, develop, update, and publish highly accurate and complete product and service documents (e.g., Mainframe Manuals, Chamber Manuals, Procedures and BKM’s).

Collect and organize technical information and product images, and coordinate layouts for publication.

Develop and author technical documentation adhering to publication processes and style guides.

Write, structure, and publish technical contents using DITA XML.

Develop new products’ technical documentation and update legacy product documentation for semiconductor equipment.

Source relevant content knowledge from databases, pre‑existing documents, tool builds, and SMEs to create, develop, update, and publish highly accurate, complete, and concise product and service documents on a timely basis.

Will be required to visit Fab/Clean Room at the site.

What You Need

Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in technical publishing software:

DITA XML: Oxygen Editor

Content Management System (CMS): SDL Tridion Docs, SharePoint, Teams

Graphical: Inkscape, Notepad++, and MS Paint

Adobe Suite: Acrobat Pro DC, FrameMaker

MS Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to work in a cross‑functional organization and multitask on multiple projects.

Must be a quick learner, self‑starter, with strong attention to detail and can work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment.

May require 10% travel.

Compensation Range $56,000–$84,000

Benefits Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (prorated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company‑paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short‑and long‑term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short‑term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
