Job Title: Senior Experience Designer/UX Designer
Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite)
Duration: 6+ months (high possibility of extension)
About the Role Client is seeking a Senior Experience Designer to craft intuitive, accessible, and elegant digital experiences for company website. This role is ideal for a well-rounded designer who excels in execution and collaboration, bringing exceptional visual craft and problem-solving skills. You will own experiences end-to-end on a key customer-facing platform, with significant visibility and opportunity to shape both strategy and design implementation.
What You'll Do
Own experiences end-to-end, shaping vision, goals, and visual execution in partnership with product and development teams
Help define problems and product strategy through discovery, competitive analysis, workshops, insights synthesis, and design direction
Produce high-quality deliverables including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished final designs for handoff to development
Apply human-centered design principles to solve customer problems with clarity and empathy
Ensure accessibility, usability, and responsiveness across devices and browsers
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively present and defend design decisions
Contribute to and help evolve the design system and shared patterns
About You
You're a thoughtful and detail-oriented designer who enjoys solving complex problems through elegant design. You thrive in cross-functional collaboration, work autonomously with minimal supervision, and care deeply about design craft and its impact on users.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in UX, Product Design, or Interaction Design
Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web and/or mobile design work with emphasis on full-scale marketing or web design
Enterprise experience and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
Excellent presentation, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with or at agencies preferred
Proficiency in Figma, AEM/CMS experience is a plus but not required
Strong attention to detail, particularly with design systems and visual craft
Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design
Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams
