Intermediate Interior Designer / Interior Architect

Experience
3-7 years experience in high-end residential &/or hospitality Interior design.
Education Bachelors in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture from an accredited program.
Software Requirements AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Google Docs Suite, Sketchup, Canva (& Programa would be a bonus!).
Required Skills
Highly organized, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and thorough.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Outstanding design and technical skills to take projects from concept to completion.
Take initiative and ownership of all tasks on projects.
Meet deadlines and ensure accuracy of all work produced.
Knowledge of general interior construction, methods & materials, details and standard building codes.
Desire to be involved in the full scope of a project from FF&E to Interior Architecture and also the construction side of a project (CA etc).
Role
Work with a small and passionate team to provide innovative solutions and creative design concepts for both small and large projects.
Assist in taking projects from programming and space planning through to permits/approvals and construction.
Site verifications: take accurate site measurements & site‑condition verifications & photos of existing conditions.
Liaise directly with General Contractors, PMs and design team consultants on design coordination, deliverables, budgets, schedules, etc.
Assist in the production of design presentations, detailed construction documentation and specifications.
Coordinate directly with furniture vendors and review proposals for design intent and budget compliance.
Assist with project schedules, timelines, meeting minutes and team coordination.
Coordinate with local showrooms and vendors as required, including showroom visits.
Other duties as required.
Other Must have a reliable car & live in Los Angeles.
Hours & In‑Office vs. Remote ~25 hrs per week to start, mostly remote (you provide your own workstation). Site visits required.
Compensation Commensurate with experience.
