Business Analyst / Visualization Analyst – (Hybrid‑Remote) – Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph, McLean, VA

Synertex LLC is seeking a Business Analyst/Visualization Analyst to support a U.S. Federal Government Agency in McLean, VA. The role focuses on managing data retrieval and analysis, uncovering trends, and developing actionable insights. The analyst ensures a high level of customer satisfaction and directly engages with senior government clients to understand mission needs.

Location & Arrangement: Hybrid remote with on‑site requirements in McLean, VA or nearby; candidate must be within reasonable commutable distance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross‑functional teams in developing, documenting, and delivering process innovations.
  • Work closely with business users, SMEs, external stakeholders, and internal teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and devise solutions.
  • Translate government client needs into data queries and visual dashboards.
  • Facilitate workshops to identify business needs and requirements.
  • Ensure data visualizations align with business objectives and support data‑driven government objectives.
  • Oversee updates to project deliverables including requirements documentation, change control artifacts, and traceability matrices.
  • Identify, evaluate, and document potential data sources in support of project requirements.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Manage high‑priority analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Advise senior government officials on data‑driven strategies.
  • Transform complex data sets into actionable insights using Tableau dashboards.
  • Interpret data within a business context and aid decision‑making.
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports that illustrate insights for stakeholders.
  • Determine information needs, database relationships, attributes, data flow, storage requirements, and reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with programmers and analysts to implement database management system changes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience developing Tableau data visualization reports and dashboards.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, database design, quality evaluation, reporting, project management, UAT, training, and development.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Desired Requirements

  • Experience with MS Excel.
  • Experience with government acquisitions.
