Tutors students in assigned subject area(s), working one-on-one or in small groups Provides personalized instruction using a variety of methods to meet the needs of different learners Reinforces concepts presented in school, helping students to grasp difficult concepts, work through problems and improve overall academic performance Helps students develop effective study skills Maintains a positive and supportive learning environment Tracks student progress and provides feedback to program staff Makes suggestions for additional resources or materials to enhance learning What You'll Need:

High School Diploma/GED - Required Bachelor's Degree - Area of Expertise - Preferred Minimum of One (1+) plus years of experience providing instructional support to students - Required High degree of confidentiality Effective time management and organizational skills Effective communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to take responsibility for one's own performance Works collaboratively with others on a team Aptitude for variety and changing expectations in a fast-paced environment Ability to coordinate and work effectively with site staff and a diverse student population Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the

physical demands

of the position.
