WKMG Commercial Creative Services is looking for a dynamic producer with demonstrable skills in videography, photography, writing, design, editing, sound design and customer service. From the field to the final edit, we need someone who can capture a business’s messaging, produce compelling content, and recommend edits that make campaigns memorable.
As a Commercial Producer, your work will be seen everywhere. You will produce seamlessly between all platforms—including digital, social media and television—and execute WKMG partnership assignments with a focus on high‑quality campaigns that get results for our clients.

Responsibilities
- Produce, shoot and edit content in a style that is professional, cutting‑edge, and reflects contemporary storytelling standards and production techniques.
- Move comfortably and efficiently between independent and team projects, and across all departments.
- Work closely with the Creative Services Director and Sales to create compelling content.
- Meet tight deadlines that sometimes shift with little to no notice.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills with active listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Guide the sales team and clients through a process that creates highly stylized paid content.
- Stay on top of emerging digital, social, and video production standards and practices.
- Maintain station equipment; keep gear clean, in good repair and stored properly.
- Understand computer/IT workflows, file transfers and be able to troubleshoot technical challenges.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate successful writing, shooting, sound design and editing ability.
- Non‑linear editing, lighting, and production skills required.
- Experienced with Adobe Suite, focusing on Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects.
- Advanced videography skills, including DSLR. Drone experience/license is a plus.
- Juggle numerous projects at once with persistent deadlines.
- Work flexible hours when needed.
- Positive attitude that includes discretion, maturity, and composure—especially under pressure.
- College degree in broadcast journalism, communication, or other related areas is preferred.
- Ability to lift in excess of 30 pounds on a regular basis.
- Valid driver’s license.
