Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Spire Motorsports’ marketing goals, sponsor deliverables, and fan engagement objectives
- Create a dynamic content calendar covering all Spire Motorsports platforms, including Cup and Truck Series teams, and coordinate content around race weekends, announcements, and events
- Partner with leadership and PR to ensure social strategy complements broader media, sponsorship, and community initiatives
- Conceptualize, write, and produce multimedia content (photo, video, graphic, and written posts) optimized for each platform (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, LinkedIn)
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all platforms while tailoring messaging for diverse audiences
- Capture and post in-the-moment content during race weekends, press events, and partner activations
- Collaborate with creative and design teams to ensure content reflects team brand standards and partner guidelines
- Track and analyze key performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, conversion) across all platforms and report insights regularly to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience managing social media for a brand, sports team or entertainment property
- Strong portfolio of content across multiple platforms showcasing creativity and engagement impact
- Deep understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and platform best practices
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and visual communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven environment, including weekends and travel during the racing season
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, X Analytics, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or native analytics)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent design tools
Preferred
- Video editing, photography, or graphic design skills are a plus.
