Job Summary

Telemundo Nashville seeks a bilingual newscast producer who can connect with Middle Tennessee’s growing Spanish‑language community and deliver impactful, platform‑optimized content. The ideal candidate has a sense of urgency, creativity, and resourcefulness.

Responsibilities

• Craft a compelling daily newscast with high production value and a sense of urgency
• Coordinate on‑air news coverage with anchor, reporters, managers, and other news staff
• Gather accurate information through various sources
• Contribute to Telemundo Nashville’s multi‑media efforts
• Interact with viewers and users on social media sites

Qualifications

• Previous experience producing television newscasts or news content, preferably in a Spanish‑language newsroom
• Strong news judgment, excellent writing skills, and an understanding of issues relevant to Middle Tennessee’s Spanish‑language community
• Proven ability to work under pressure and manage breaking news situations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and manage several tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of newsroom systems, production workflows, and digital platforms
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken); understanding of regional Spanish differences
