Studio Producer at Samaritan's Purse, Boone, NC. Full‑time, English fluency, 15 days/annually travel.

Overview

Maintain and operate broadcast studio equipment, coordinate video productions, and produce live and pre‑recorded content for ministry websites and ministry outreach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain studio equipment and operate lighting, camera, audio, and switcher systems.
• Assist with studio maintenance, including set construction and electrical systems.
• Provide technical video support for broadcasts and podcast studio productions.
• Produce special project videos, promos, PSAs, documentary‑style stories, web videos, and news pieces.
• Collaborate with a graphic artist on graphic development for productions.
• Provide editing services for approved projects using current broadcast workflow.
• Schedule crew, execute shoots, interviews, and pre‑production tasks.
• Lead assigned production studio staff to accomplish production goals.
• Assume floor director, studio shoot producer, associate producer, video switcher operator, and media wrangler roles as needed.
• Support videographers and perform studio manager duties in their absence.
• Work with the Assistant Director of Studio Operations to develop new production ideas.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and research projects as assigned.
• Communicate effectively across cultures and backgrounds.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of related experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Thorough knowledge of live video production and broadcast control room workflows.
• Strong ability to direct and direct crews during live work, with solid understanding of video switchers, recorders, graphic systems, audio engineering, and editing.
• Competent in editing with the in‑house system.
