AI-UX Engineer – Austin, TX – 9 months

We are seeking a proficient AI-UX Engineer to join our team dedicated to building and scaling enterprise‑grade internal Generative AI platforms. This hybrid position requires a deep understanding of development, user‑centered design, and advanced Agentic AI architecture. The role is a 9‑month contract based in Austin, TX, and requires permanent U.S. work authorization.

• Architect the user experience for complex Multi‑Agent Orchestration Systems and implement front‑end components that interact directly with the Model Context Protocol (MCP), ensuring superior user control, transparency, and reliability.
• Design and develop the client‑facing architecture of AI agents and dashboards using React.js, TypeScript, and Node.js, focusing on high‑performance, responsive design.
• Integrate MCP in front‑end components and UIs that leverage the Model Context Protocol for secure, context‑aware interaction with enterprise data sources, internal APIs, and external tools.
• Design and implement intuitive user control mechanisms (e.g., autonomy sliders, grounding checks, memory management) that provide transparency and control over complex Multi‑Agentic workflows and decision‑support systems.
• Lead the development and maintenance of scalable design systems, ensuring all Generative AI interfaces adhere to WCAG 2.1 standards and uphold Apple’s high‑fidelity design aesthetics.
• Conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and gather telemetry data to define KPIs for AI products, using quantitative and qualitative feedback to drive iterative UX and model refinement.
• Partner closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Product Managers to translate ambiguous business problems (e.g., in manufacturing, supply chain, or finance) into clear, production‑ready AI‑UX solutions.
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and deploying high‑availability services in a CI/CD environment is a plus.
