Human Resource Consultant 2 (PCN 25N23023) Alaska residents only. The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities Program Management and Administration is seeking a nonpermanent Human Resource Specialist 2 to help us Keep Alaska Moving.

Salary Anchorage – $2,804.00 bi‑weekly Juneau – $2,944.00 bi‑weekly

What you will be doing

Develop and write the EEO report for the department’s Affluent Action Plan and Human Capital Plan to meet FHWA and FTA requirements, including researching, analyzing, and synthesizing large amounts of personnel data.

Develop, implement, and train DOT supervisors and managers via DOT Leadership Seminars, focusing on personnel resources and best practices.

Develop, implement, and monitor climate assessments focusing on workforce initiatives, including executing in‑person and online surveys and providing insights to inform strategic decisions and improve workplace culture.

Develop, implement, and monitor personnel‑related activities and projects such as updating policies and procedures, administering and analyzing surveys, and supporting performance evaluation cycles.

Analyze workforce data to support strategic HR decisions and deliver insights to leadership, identifying strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

Working environment you can expect Position may be filled in Anchorage or Juneau. Telework options are available after training and supervisor approval. Our offices are located at 2200 E 42nd Avenue (Anchorage) and 3.5 miles in Juneau near SEARHC.
