The Opportunity Join our dynamic Business Performance team as a Organization and Workforce Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in optimizing workforce, talent, and mobility strategies. You will be instrumental in future‑proofing our operations through the design, development, and influence on operating models and continuous change. As a trusted advisor, you will develop and implement workforce strategies that align with business and functional strategy to meet business objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in understanding workforce requirements to design organizations at the operating model and organization design level to achieve strategic intent.
Key Responsibilities
Guide clients from assessment through to implementation in organizational design.
Lead large‑scale organizational design projects and advise stakeholders while building relationships with colleagues and clients.
Collaborate to deliver innovative and insightful solutions for a range of challenges, from how to best structure teams to deliver on the organization’s strategy to how the organization’s structure can allow for more agile ways of working.
Skills And Attributes For Success
Lead project workstreams, from planning through implementation – including managing project resources and budgets effectively, and identify and effectively manage and mitigate risks and issues.
Understand how organizational design, strategic workforce planning, and change management contribute to transformational initiatives focused on accelerating business performance; also grasp opportunities and risks associated with acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and their organizational design implications.
Demonstrate technical competence in key capabilities and take a practical/business‑driven approach to solving complex client challenges.
Generate profitable revenue by identifying additional engagement opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients.
Influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for major change initiatives and/or decisions.
Encourage collaboration among team members and promote an inclusive working environment.
Understand human resources opportunities, challenges and issues in at least one serviced sector (e.g., Oil & Gas, Health, Telecommunications, Power & Utilities, Insurance, Media & Entertainment).
Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clients.
Passionate about advancing the PAS practice by leading the development of thought leadership and EY approaches, tools and methodologies in organization design.
Coach and develop teams and colleagues, acting as a visible role model for our people.
Qualifications
Relevant professional service experience, with a global management consultancy firm or niche consultancy where you gained exposure to large‑scale projects.
Around 6–9 years of prior experience in Operating Model Development, Organizational Structure and Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, Capability Mapping, Organizational Assessment, and Organizational Governance, with demonstrated success in current role applying one or more of these capabilities.
Experience leading org. design engagements in one or more functional domains – supply chain, IT, finance, customer, sales & marketing; having worked in large multi‑disciplinary teams as part of functional and enterprise‑wide transformation engagements.
Proven track record in managing and analysing large datasets and using analytics in project execution; deep expertise in working with and engaging clients on the use of digital assets in org. design projects.
Bachelor’s degree required in a related field of business, human resources, or psychology.
Willingness to travel as needed, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with an average of three (3) days per week at a client site or within an EY office.

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package based on performance; base salary ranges $125,900–$231,100 in the U.S. (variations by region). The Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
Hybrid model: most client‑serving roles work 40–60% in person over the course of an engagement, project or year.
Flexible vacation policy: time off based on personal circumstances; additional time for EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence.
