Job Overview The LPL Financial Marketing Solutions department seeks a senior marketing consultant with high proficiency in all facets of digital marketing. In this position you will be the main point of contact for LPL financial advisors, supporting them by integrating digital marketing into their practices. You will execute a digital marketing strategy for LPL advisors using email, social media, SEO, lead generation, digital advertising, websites, and more. This role reports to a Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities
Report to Marketing Manager of Marketing Solutions.
Curate and implement digital marketing editorial calendars for each advisor’s blog, e‑newsletter, email campaigns, digital ads, and social media platforms month over month.
Maintain and enhance each advisor’s website and blog to meet evolving needs.
Implement lead generation, niche prospecting processes, and required workflows to drive business growth for both LPL Financial and the advisors.
Establish and measure ROI and KPIs such as email CTR, social media engagement, and website traffic.
Schedule and host monthly discussions with the advisors.
Maintain the advisor’s brand identity, stationery, and brochure.
Collaborate with the advisor to ensure cohesive messaging and communications, and coach on events and seminars.
Collaborate with compliance to ensure content, brand, and messaging are approved.
Work with LPL’s current tools to integrate plans into overarching marketing strategies.
Provide feedback and program enhancements based on advisor insights.
Requirements
3-5 years hands‑on marketing experience.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.
Solid understanding of ecommerce, PPC, SEO, and SEM.
Proficiency with CRM, inbound marketing tools, and web management.
Basic knowledge of offset and digital print.
Understanding of events and webinars.
Working knowledge of web design principles and content management platforms.
Ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and AdvisorStream.
Salesforce experience preferred but not required.
Financial services experience is a plus.
Core Competencies
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SmartSheet.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Resourceful mindset with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
Ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
Knowledge of web design principles and content management platforms.
Preferences
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience working in financial services preferred.
Experience with marketing technology platforms a plus.
