The Content Design team conceptualizes, crafts, and builds the content experiences for some of Apple’s most visible products, including Apple TV, Music, Maps, News, and more! Your ideas and vision can impact the way people consume media products, what they look and feel like, and how they’re used by millions of people across the globe.
We're looking for an exceptional Sr. Production Designer focusing on Sports. In this role, you will have a passion for storytelling, with a strong knowledge of live sports and sports production. You will be working alongside teams of designers, editors, and producers to scale artwork for use on platforms and in live games. The ideal candidate for the role relishes in the details of the production design process and understands how to shape production workflows to scale at a high volume.
Description You will help shape how we work by creating and developing system workflows and tools that streamline the production processes across the Sports broadcast ecosystem. You will create design guidelines and templates that help the team scale and elevate models. Innovation will be key in this role. You will work closely with the Sports team as well as cross-functionally to achieve a wide variety of goals.

Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a production and creative environment
Skilled in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote
Possesses a strong knowledge and passion for sports
Demonstrates command of motion & animation, design, and typography principles
Comfortable and confident working in a dynamic environment, partnering with teams to move through the unknown
Possesses extreme attention to detail and ability to create design guidelines and specifications for a variety of workflows
Ability to learn new processes and technology quickly
Diligence in file-naming structures and file organization
Ability to work quickly and with multiple points of feedback and changes
Ability to work independently to troubleshoot technical and process-related issues
Preferred Qualifications
Portfolio demonstrating motion design and broadcast work
Experience in making expressions in After Effects
Experience working with 3D design tools; Cinema 4D is a plus
Having knowledge of scripting is a plus
Experience with production design workflows including retouching, localization, and video production
Working knowledge of insert graphics systems is a plus
Experience delivering designs across many screen sizes and formats
Bachelor’s Degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, or a similar field
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,800 and $210,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
