What You’ll Be Doing
Oversee every aspect of the successful operation of 2 to 3 AT&T retail locations.
Foster a culture of winning.
Live the organization’s core values.
Positively contribute to a fun and friendly work environment for customers and employees.
Lead by example.
Consistently meet or exceed sales and customer service expectations in each location.
Consistently meet or exceed operational standards, minimizing or eliminating losses to the company in each location.
Create a strong focus on sales and sales‑generating activities every day at each location.
Conduct a minimum of four highly effective store visits per location per month, including visits in the evening and on weekends, and provide detailed recaps to the store manager/ASM and company leadership.
Actively manage and be responsible for recruiting and staffing all positions in the market.
Conduct monthly one‑on‑ones with store managers and ASMs to review store performance and create action plans for improvement.
Conduct regular conference calls, training sessions, and meetings to foster knowledge and best‑practice sharing.
Maintain and consistently communicate store performance metrics, recognizing top performers.
Support B2B, FirstNet, and MDU efforts.
Communicate effectively and professionally via phone and email with customers, partners, and coworkers.
Uphold and partner with HR to enforce all company and AT&T policies and procedures.
Conduct a monthly new‑hire sales training that effectively delivers the defined MWT sales behaviors.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to plan and execute local events and promotions consistent with MWT and AT&T marketing initiatives and branding.
Ensure all store personnel are trained on and are following all policies and procedures.
Resolve customer issues.
Deliver a clean, organized, and fully operational retail experience for all customers and employees.
Meet all AT&T compliance and merchandising requirements in all locations at all times.
Proactively review reporting to identify potential risks and take appropriate action.
Maintain a positive effective relationship with coworkers, vendors, and partners.
Work nights and weekends.
Travel as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Things We Need You To Have
Education: HS Diploma, BA or BS preferred in a related field or equivalent experience.
Five or more years of successful sales experience, with 2+ years Wireless Retail Store Manager experience.
AT&T sales management experience preferred but not required.
One or more years of retail multi‑unit store responsibility.
Demonstrated successful development and promotion of sales consultants to store managers.
Demonstrated high ethical and moral behavior, unquestionable integrity and character.
Demonstrated success directing training and development activities of a sales team.
Demonstrated success in staffing stores with high‑quality, high‑potential candidates.
Experience utilizing a behavioral‑based selection process for store‑level staffing.
Demonstrated success managing store‑based marketing initiatives.
Experience with consistent delivery of merchandising and store sales promotions.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Displayed elevated level of emotional intelligence.
Strong knowledge of common business applications (Web browsers, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Excellent knowledge of all aspects of store operations to facilitate training of team members.
Mature professional with a good balance of risk‑taking and judgment, confidence and assertiveness, open‑minded and flexible—who demonstrates a “take‑charge” spirit.
Ability to work 50+ hours per week, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance.
