Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our communications department, the Public Relations Coordinator will play a key role in managing and enhancing our organization’s public image. This role involves a mix of strategic planning, communication, and media outreach, which will help to establish and maintain a positive relationship with our target audience and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies that align with the organization's goals.
Draft press releases, media advisories, and promotional materials to effectively communicate our news and initiatives.
Manage social media accounts by creating engaging content and monitoring interactions to enhance our online presence.
Build and maintain relationships with media representatives, influencers, and community stakeholders.
Assist in organizing and promoting events, press conferences, and other public engagement activities.
Conduct research to identify new PR opportunities and trends within the industry.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in public relations, communications, or media relations, preferably in a corporate or nonprofit environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and content creation.
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while managing multiple priorities.
Proficiency in media monitoring and public relations software tools.
