Miller Nash’s bankruptcy and creditors’ rights team is growing! The members of Miller Nash’s bankruptcy and creditors’ rights team aggressively represent clients in a wide variety of industries while finding practical and creative solutions in distressed financial situations.
Miller Nash is seeking an associate with two to five years of experience representing creditors to join its Long Beach office (preferred) or remotely in the San Francisco region. The ideal candidate will have experience representing creditors in state and federal court proceedings involving commercial loans (collection and/or lender liability matters), as well as in loan workouts and commercial bankruptcy. Experience with litigation, bankruptcy, receivership, and related insolvency proceedings is required, as well as strong academic credentials and analytical ability. The position may also offer the opportunity to work on litigated matters in other areas of law.
This is a hybrid position (working partially remotely and partially in the office). Membership in the California State Bar is required. Membership in the Washington or Oregon State Bar is a plus.
