ADA Engineering, a GHD company, is currently looking for a Civil Designer to join their Florida based team in Miami ! In this role, you will collaborate on FDOT projects and concurrently support other projects that require stormwater, roadway and water and sewer pipeline design. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure that all designs meet client or industry CAD standards, design guidelines and specifications. Responsibilities Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions, technical or professional in nature. Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Define and deliver projects and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems. Produce multiple concepts for design services. What you’ll bring to the team Associate’s Degree in Drafting / Design or hold a Computer-Aided Design Certificate. 15 years of experience preparing plans in both plan and profile. Advanced proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads and familiarity with FDOT plans preparation. Proficiency in Guidesign and Autoturn. Proficiency in AutoCad Civil 3D is also preferred.
