Position Title Marketing Specialist – Boston, MA Salary $75,000 - $85,000 / year Employee Referral Bonus Eligible for an Employee Referral Bonus. Refer a qualified candidate via PeopleHub. Job Summary Bon Appetit seeks a Marketing Specialist to join our team. The Activation and Engagement Manager reports directly to the Resident District Manager and is responsible for all site-level marketing activities, including advertising and promotions. This person will collaborate closely with clients and the management team to produce marketing strategies and collateral that meet dining operation needs, focusing on client and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Activate our brand internally through people’s programs and externally with customer experience initiatives. Collaborate creatively within the Image + Style team to develop initiatives that enhance the brand and increase customer participation and revenue. Use the activation toolkit for most efforts and manage small-scale design projects with our professional design team. Support field teams on-site for brand activation initiatives and client needs, including account openings. Proactively develop recommendations to refresh on-site customer experiences to support account retention. Identify and surface issues/requests for mass-level projects; work collaboratively to develop new systems and tactics, aiming to automate predictable tasks to humanize exceptional work. Utilize the BAMCO help center to support account needs. Develop strategies and tactics for promoting existing or new locations to enhance sales, customer experience, and satisfaction. Drive Great Expectations 4 (GE4) brand standards by supporting and inspiring units to implement GE4 tactics. Guide accounts through building business plans and ensuring teams buy in, execute, and report on impact. Ensure content on account sites is relevant and correct, reviewing for design, grammar, and Bon Appetit brand voice. Desired Qualifications Minimum BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations. Two years of experience in marketing within a marketing firm, retail, or food & beverage/restaurant environment. Proactive, assertive, and creative; strong strategic thinking skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and WordPress. Experience managing the design process is a plus. Organized, detail-oriented, process-oriented, and self-motivated; able to work independently with minimal supervision and problem-solve effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills, including public speaking and client interaction. Strong writing skills with proper grammar and spelling.
