Associate Media Director
The Associate Media Director at Syneos Health Commercial Solutions will support execution of media strategy alongside agency teams, work with search, social, programmatic teams, collaborate with the Data Science practice, manage personalized media plans for target audiences, own campaign management, and grow and maintain partnerships across the media group.
Media Strategy
Provide input and recommendations on appropriate channel mix and consideration set development for clients
Continuously improve our offering and scale it appropriately
Work with partner agencies on new business opportunities and pitches
Lead media collaboration with senior internal and external stakeholders spanning agency client teams, digital, strategy & planning, analytics, and vendor partners
Develop close working relationships with client and agency brand teams to grow adoption of media as part of a holistic go‑to‑market strategy, connecting media KPIs to brand business KPIs
Develop, apply and share best practices for desk operations, communication, campaign management, cross‑departmental reach, measurement planning, and reporting
Continuously provide trends and POVs across agencies to communicate value to clients
Consistently evaluate new partnerships to grow and maintain a playbook of channel partners and tactics
Media Planning
Create intuitive presentations for internal and external key stakeholders
Lead development and presentation of detailed media recommendations with external partners
Collaborate with data science and analytics to develop measurement plans that include non‑media channels
Own the success and overall KPI results of assigned media programs and clients
Media Consulting
Assist in delivery of media strategy consulting to internal agency staff and client teams
Provide liaison services between the Integrated Media Team and third‑party agencies
Ensure media strategies align with AOR strategic foundation
Maximize creative work by supporting agencies to reach fullest potential via selected channel placements
Systems & Tools
Hands‑on experience with ad technologies including data management platforms, DSPs, SSPs, ad‑verification, and third‑party data providers
Familiarity with data visualization tools
Experience with ad serving solutions, tag management, and operations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
6+ years progressive programmatic, ad operations, or biddable media experience in sales, agency, or ad tech
Experience designing and implementing pharmaceutical media campaigns
Knowledgeable in audience buying and vendor contacts and capabilities
Excellent presentation skills and a history of successful client engagements
Exceptional organizational skills, multi‑tasking capabilities, and detail orientation
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Compensation
The annual base salary ranges from $115,000 to $130,000, with eligibility for commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
