Kindermusik Instructor / Kids Music Teacher Brightside Daycare, a licensed early childhood center in Yonkers, NY, is seeking a part‑time, on‑site Kindermusik Instructor / Kids Music Teacher for our after‑school programs. The role involves leading engaging music and movement classes designed to promote early childhood development through the power of music. Role Description This position requires planning and delivering age‑appropriate music lessons, fostering creativity and participation among young children, and creating a positive classroom environment that aligns with Brightside’s nurturing philosophy. Collaboration with parents and staff to enhance the children’s overall experience is a key component of this role. Qualifications Strong foundation in music theory and proficiency in piano or other musical instruments. Experience in music education, performance, and working with young children. Excellent teaching and communication skills, able to engage and inspire children. Patient, caring demeanor with a passion for early childhood development through music. Previous experience with Kindermusik or similar programs is a plus. CPR/First Aid certification and successful completion of NYS background clearances (or commitment to obtain them).
