Mission Sledgehammer Games is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Technical Sound Designer to help create a fresh new AAA aural experience for our next project. You will be involved in all technical, implementation and sound design aspects of game audio content development alongside one of the most passionate and experienced audio teams in the industry. Responsibilities Develop in-depth real-time audio-control scripting. Implement audio assets and collaborate with audio programmers and other sound designers to develop audio systems based on creative vision and gameplay needs. Apply studio and departmental best practices for technical audio workflows and systems. Design interactive and linear sound effects. Inspire teamwork and collaboration inside and outside the Audio Dept. Qualifications Minimum eight years of experience in game audio development. Shipped at least three major titles. Experience in programming languages such as Lua or Python. Fluency in game audio implementation systems. Understanding of PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC audio functionality, capabilities, and limitations. Experience with major digital audio workstations. Solid understanding of technical audio theory and audio engineering. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and exceptional organization skills. Continuing education certificate, professional or advanced degree in programming, audio engineering, or similar preferred. Bonus: Experience in C or C#, FPS/multi‑player experience a plus.
