Director of Digital News Content - KVVU Gray Media is a multimedia company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia that operates the nation's largest owner of top‑rated local television stations. We are looking for an experienced news leader to join our digital team at KVVU (FOX5), the #1 station in Las Vegas. This role is part of the news management team and drives digital and streaming content strategy. Responsibilities Hands‑on management of all digital and streaming platforms daily, training and providing feedback to the digital staff. Ensure a multi‑platform approach for all news stories and original FOX5 content. Lead breaking‑news response across all appropriate digital platforms. Develop coverage plans for special assignments. Collaborate with station leaders to execute long‑term digital strategies. Track digital analytics (engagement, SEO, video performance) to optimize content and increase user sessions and page views. Serve as the point person for corporate‑level digital initiatives. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of newsroom experience focused on digital content, with a track record of managing a team. Bachelor’s degree in broadcast/digital journalism or equivalent. Knowledge of AP style and strong journalism ethics. Familiarity with platforms and tools such as Canva, Meta, X (Twitter), Bluesky, YouTube, TikTok, Social Newsdesk, Linkinbio, Chartbeat, Taboola, Google Analytics, mobile app management, Arc CMS, ENPS, DBI, JVC streaming, OTT platforms, Outlook, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
