Job Duties

• Designs and prepares graphics for the Department’s social media, brochures, reports, booklets, and pamphlets; arranges content in the most effective manner for presentation.
• Takes photographs and videos of department action, including live and still scenes, portraits, reports, exhibits, publications, and social media.
• Assists in the photographic and reproduction process of graphic material.
• Develops formatting and graphic elements for internal communications and educational material for Department staff to ensure effective communication with the public.
• Communicates with team members about layout and design.
• Upholds and maintains a system for tracking progress on projects to ensure deadlines are met.
• Assists in the development of plans, presentations, studies, and reports.
• Coordinates with the Department web team.
• Preforms other related duties as assigned by the Director of Communications.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and other graphic design programs.
• Must have two (2) years of experience in multimedia design.
• Postsecondary education may substitute on a year‑for‑year basis for the required experience.

Support of knowledge, skills, and abilities should be demonstrated on the application, in the education, in the work experience, in the work sample, in the interview and/or during reference checks.

Background Screening Requirement
