Overview Of The Company

Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full‑power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). 18 of the stations are affiliated with the FOX Network. The stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week and leverage viewer, distributor, and advertiser demand for FOX Network’s national content.

Responsibilities

  • Produce locally produced programs including “Last Call.”
  • Write and develop production concepts.
  • Identify and transform social media trends into compelling, multi‑platform content.
  • Content creation for newscasts, podcasts, and feature programming.
  • Live and breaking news coverage.
  • Produce segments for both linear and streaming platforms.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of television news experience in a medium to major market.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong news judgment, and outstanding writing ability.
  • High‑level proficiency in research and information gathering.
  • Familiarity with newsroom computer systems, television production workflows, and digital content creation.
  • Proven ability to produce high‑quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $70,000.00-75,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
