Are you a seasoned UX Designer who is passionate about delivering elevated user experiences? The Advertising User Experience (AUX) team seeks a Senior UX Designer to innovate and streamline campaign planning, management, and reporting. You will work closely with UX, product, and engineering to evolve our design system, Storm, and elevate the advertiser experience across Amazon and beyond.

As a Senior UX Designer on the Ads team, you will craft experiences that enable advertisers of all sizes to promote their brands, manage campaigns, and analyze performance. You’ll participate in all stages of product development, from ideation through launch, and define design standards, patterns, and mechanisms to simplify complex workflows. The role requires a deep understanding of web technologies, accessibility, and user‑centered design, plus the ability to use data to inform decisions.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Create user‑centered designs by integrating market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research, and technical constraints.
  • Rapidly develop user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate new product initiatives.
  • Simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive, elegant UI.
  • Maintain detailed UI patterns and specifications, collaborating with developers to guide implementation.
  • Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly across audiences and organizational levels.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of design experience.
  • Available online portfolio.
  • Proficient with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or comparable prototyping tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience applying Scrum to visual or UX design processes.
  • Experience designing complex workflows.
  • Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards.
  • Experience with design systems.

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $127,100/year to $211,600/year depending on market location. Additional compensation may include equity, sign‑on payments, and a comprehensive benefits package. For more information, visit Amazon Employee Benefits.
