Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, prep, shoot, and edit short‑form video content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Collaborate with marketing and editorial teams to recruit and manage talent on set and in the field.
• Maintain studio equipment, manage internal production gear, and coordinate production timelines.
• Adapt quickly to pre‑production direction and production notes.
• Become familiar with Rolling Stone video publishing and analytics platforms.
• Upload and manage the company’s video library across multiple platforms.
• Assist with pre‑production, production, and post‑production for branded content.

Requirements

• 3‑5 years of shooting/editing experience with a portfolio of relevant reels.
• Fast and efficient editing skills for both long and short‑form video.
• Proven track record of creating high‑consumption social media videos.
• Experience with stop‑motion, color‑correcting, audio balance, and music synchronization.
• Expert knowledge of production equipment, audio, and camera operation.
• Strong understanding of exporting, transcoding, and video file conversion.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines with agility.
• Assistant in scriptwriting, production outlines, and call sheets.
• Field production skills including interviews, grip work, equipment transport, and prop coordination.
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere and proficiency in Adobe After Effects.

Typical wage range: $80,000 – $100,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
