Marketing Director

to lead all facets of internal and external marketing. This role will elevate the firm’s brand, strengthen its market presence, and support business development through compelling proposals, messaging, and thought leadership. The Marketing Director will be based in the Chicago office and will collaborate closely with firm leadership, project teams, and marketing staff across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities Brand & External Marketing

Develop and execute a cohesive brand strategy that reinforces the firm’s identity across all markets and service lines.

Lead content development for digital channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, and thought‑leadership pieces.

Oversee production of marketing materials, case studies, project highlights, and video content.

Ensure brand consistency across all communications and touchpoints.

Proposals & Business Development Support

Direct the proposal process from start to finish—strategizing, writing, editing, designing, and delivering high‑impact submissions.

Collaborate with technical staff and leadership to craft competitive positioning, project narratives, and win themes.

Maintain and refine a library of project data, resumes, and visual assets for efficient proposal production.

Support the development of interview presentations and other client‑facing materials.

Internal Marketing & Culture Communications

Strengthen internal communications to ensure alignment around mission, values, and strategic priorities.

Produce internal newsletters, leadership updates, and employee‑focused campaigns that support engagement and retention.

Partner with HR and leadership to promote culture initiatives and internal events.

Industry Engagement

Represent the firm at conferences, panels, community events, and industry organizations.

Identify speaking opportunities, sponsorships, and award submissions that elevate the firm’s visibility.

Coordinate conference planning, booth design, and event marketing.

Team Leadership & Operations

Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing marketing team.

Manage marketing budgets, vendors, schedules, and resource allocation.

Implement tools, systems, and processes that improve efficiency and creativity.
