Sustainable Water Infrastructure Group, LLC (SWIG, LLC) is expanding nationally and seeking a Marketing and Sales Lead to drive business development across the country, starting with a strong focus on Florida. Our nature‑based, engineered media filtration treatment systems remove phosphorus, nitrogen, PFAS, and heavy metals while restoring usable water supplies for utilities, municipalities, and private‑sector clients.
As demand for resilient, measurable water‑quality solutions accelerates, we are growing rapidly and need a Sales Leader who can build a strong pipeline immediately and eventually scale a team around increasing market interest. This position has a clear pathway to a director‑level role as the company continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute SWIG’s go‑to‑market strategy across municipal, utility, engineering, and private‑sector markets.
Lead outreach to regulatory agencies, state and federal programs, water utilities, engineering consulting firms, developers, industrial clients, and ESG‑driven corporations.
Manage and expand a multistate sales pipeline, helping shape pilot and demonstration projects.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a business development and marketing team as the company scales.
Work closely with SWIG leadership to advance brand positioning, communications, and strategic partnerships.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Analyze performance metrics, forecast pipeline growth, and support strategic planning as part of the senior leadership team.
Ideal Candidate
10+ years of experience in water infrastructure, environmental markets, or clean technology sales and marketing.
Proven success selling to public agencies, utilities, regulatory bodies, and private infrastructure clients.
Strong understanding of environmental permitting, water quality (stormwater, wastewater, etc.) regulations, and state and federal funding mechanisms.
Experience operating in a fast‑moving, high‑impact startup environment.
Familiarity with the Florida water market preferred; national experience welcome.
Strong communication, leadership, and relationship‑building skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute quickly and scale effectively.
