Communications Specialist - Senior Consultant

What You Will Do
Plan, draft, and develop high-quality written communication products on behalf of a federal client.
Work directly with federal clients and team members to develop and manage a clear communications strategy and communications plans.
Detail‑oriented, flexible, proactive, and able to multi‑task quickly to adapt to changing client priorities and respond to ad‑hoc requests.
Support long‑term career development, following a clearly defined career path while deepening specialized industry knowledge and consulting skills.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional working experience excluding internships, co‑ops, fellowship/academia research.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional analytical problem‑solving skills.
Experience working on client‑facing projects and deliverables.
Ability to own a workstream and work directly with the client.
Stakeholder engagement experience and communications experience.
What Would Be Nice To Have
Three or more years of experience in federal government consulting.
Experience in the transportation industry.
Experience in the safety industry.
Experience working in Google Workspace.
Experience working onsite with clients in a formal, professional environment.
Salary Range The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00 – $163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
