Position Summary As a company that believes in openness and collaboration, partnerships are critical to our success. Within Marketing, we work with industry leaders and brands, not only to reach and communicate with our target audiences, but to accelerate joint innovation and shared value creation with like‑minded people and partners. For Samsung, the US plays a critical role in maintaining our position as the #1 mobile brand globally, and so the success here at home is vital as a force that contributes to global Samsung campaigns and initiatives. The smartphone market is highly competitive with little room for total market growth, and so our success lies in maintaining our own share, whilst securing share from competitors – which means being bold and purposeful in our marketing activities. This role is an opportunity for those who share a passion and ambition to change the market.

Re‑shape Samsung’s presence in the US – making us the #1 choice in mobile.

Elevate our position in culture.

Bring our technology to life in new ways that resonate with our target audiences.

Role and Responsibilities In this role, the organization will look to you for your leadership in not only owning the overall Partnership strategy, but identifying, securing and executing partnerships with leading brands in categories that include Music, Sports, Lifestyle and Gaming. You will focus on “Fewer, Bigger, Bigger” partnerships, driving impact and scale. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders – PR, Social, Product Marketing and Media – to ensure each partnership delivers results, while working closely with Finance, Legal, Sales, Product, Compliance, Carrier and Retail teams. This partnership marketing role is distinct from partnership business development; you are expected to deliver partnership programs end‑to‑end as part of the full‑funnel Integrated Marketing Team.

Build long‑term Partnership strategies that drive success for Samsung in the USA across the full funnel – not just signing deals but driving creative, distribution/scaling, media integration and IRL/digital extensions.

Identify the right Partnerships that align with specific campaigns and device launches; map partners to campaign and launch objectives, audiences and sales.

Establish and execute professional Partnership frameworks that bring to life partner and Samsung’s Product & Human Truths to create brand and business synergies.

Negotiate & execute commercial terms & contracts, working with Legal, Finance, Compliance and Procurement.

Take end‑to‑end accountability for bringing Partnerships to life in marketing – always with a consumer‑first mindset.

Track, analyze and report against marketing/Partnership KPIs and metrics, and take corrective action where needed.

Take a consultative role for multiple internal stakeholders – be a source of expertise in Partnerships and Business Development.

Identify synergies between Partnerships and our Carrier/Retail account teams; amplify Partnerships using their scale and resources.

Work closely with Finance to ensure all plans are within budget and approvals handled within compliance guidelines.

Ensure the cross‑functional team is fully aware of live and in‑progress Partnerships; develop best‑practice information sharing and evangelising.

This role will report directly to the Senior Director or Owned Media as part of the MX Marketing organization.
