About the Role We are looking for a hands‑on, strategic, and execution‑driven Senior Manager or Director of Field Marketing to lead Clockwork’s event marketing programs — from concept to completion.
This position reports directly to the Head of Marketing and collaborates closely with Sales, Growth, and Executive teams to create world‑class, revenue‑driving event experiences that elevate our brand and accelerate growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute Clockwork’s field marketing strategy
across in‑person, virtual, and hybrid formats—including tradeshows, conferences, partner events, and executive experiences.
Plan and deliver high‑impact events
that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and measurable pipeline growth.
Collate closely with Head of Marketing, Sales, and Executives
to align event strategy with GTM priorities and revenue objectives.
Be hands‑on and proactive
– from vendor management and logistics to booth design, campaign coordination, and on‑site execution.
Develop scalable event frameworks
and playbooks to support Clockwork’s expansion into new markets and global audiences.
Design audience acquisition strategies
to attract high‑value prospects and customers to both physical and virtual experiences.
Track, analyze, and report event performance , including lead quality, engagement metrics, and ROI.
Manage budgets effectively , ensuring every dollar spent maximizes impact and brand excellence.
Champion collaboration and communication
– keeping internal stakeholders informed, aligned, and inspired.
Who You Are
7+ years of experience in field marketing
within B2B technology—ideally blending early‑stage startup experience with exposure to a scaled or public company environment.
Proven success scaling growth and executing high‑performing event programs for recognized technology brands.
Deep expertise across virtual, hybrid, and in‑person event management, from trade shows to executive roundtables.
Strong understanding of demand generation, audience engagement, and event ROI measurement.
A self‑starter who can operate independently with little direction, yet thrives as a collaborative team player who values alignment and communication.
Highly organized and adaptable—equally skilled in fast‑turn activations and long‑term strategic event planning.
Strong brand sensibility – knows how to deliver premium, high‑impact experiences while operating efficiently.
Willing to work onsite in Palo Alto, CA (2–3 days per week) and travel domestically ~4–5 times per year.
Bonus Points
Experience in Artificial Intelligence, infrastructure, or open‑source ecosystems.
Familiarity with developer and technical audiences.
Background in enterprise SaaS or growth‑stage technology companies.
