The Head of Marketing/Vice President is a visionary executive responsible for building and driving our client’s marketing strategy to accelerate growth, strengthen our brand both internally and externally, and deliver exceptional customer experiences, reporting the CEO. Roles & Responsibilities
Build out and cultivate the current marketing department expanding the team's expertise in advertising, PR, event execution, design, website/e-commerce, and market research.
Identify marketing functions to be built internally that have been historically outsourced: digital/automated marketing, lead management, design, website/e-commerce, and brand development.
Lead and manage the marketing team in alignment with the mission, vision, and values, while identifying, developing, and hiring talent to build a high-performing Center of Excellence.
Champion exceptional customer experience through innovative marketing campaigns, increased connection to our brand and find ways to increase customer loyalty.
Oversee marketing operations, campaign management, and performance analytics to optimize campaigns and generate actionable insights.
Collaborate closely with business unit leaders, OEMs and suppliers, managing overall relationships, marketing initiatives, and co-branding requirements. Partner with stakeholders inside and outside to ensure engagement with employees, customers, and vendors.
Drive employee development including but not limited to onboarding, performance appraisal, and professional development.
Foster a positive and collaborative work culture, promote employee engagement, and develop leadership talent within the organization.
P&L responsibility for marketing budget and spend, including agency management.
Represent the Marketing Division in meetings with clients, investors, partners, and other stakeholders to build and maintain positive relationships.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience as a head of marketing or in a similar role, with a strong history of successfully developing and implementing marketing strategies and programs as well as managing marketing teams with well-rounded experience in most, if not all, functions of marketing.
A deep understanding of modern marketing practices and the ability to coach and develop a high-performing and respected marketing team.
8+ years of demonstrated strategic marketing leadership and management experience.
Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM software, and analytics tools for campaign management and customer insights.
Strong knowledge of marketing principles, e-commerce, customer insights, multi-market brand strategy and techniques, and methodologies.
Customer-focused (understanding the needs of our customers and fostering strong relationships).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic mindset with the ability to align operational strategies with the company’s vision and goals.
Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and performance measurement to drive financial success.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and manage marketing budgets, ROI, and performance metrics to meet or exceed goals and objectives.
Able to attract, develop, and retain qualified team members.
