The Opportunity

Join our dynamic Business Performance team as a Organization and Workforce Manager. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing workforce, talent, and mobility strategies, instrumentally future‑proofing operations through design, development, and influence on operating models and continuous change. As a trusted advisor, you will develop and implement workforce strategies aligned with business and functional strategy to meet objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Our approach to organizational design helps guide our clients from assessment through to implementation. You’ll lead large‑scale organizational design projects, advise stakeholders, and build relationships with colleagues and clients. You’ll also collaborate to deliver innovative and insightful solutions for challenges such as structuring teams to support strategy and creating agile ways of working.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Lead project workstreams from planning through implementation – including managing resources, budgets, risks, and issues.

Apply organizational design, strategic workforce planning, and change management as integral components of transformational initiatives.

Understand opportunities and risks associated with acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and organizational design implications.

Demonstrate technical competence in key capabilities and take a practical, business‑driven approach to solving complex client challenges.

Generate profitable revenue by identifying additional engagement opportunities and building lasting client relationships.

Influence and persuade stakeholders to gain support for major change initiatives.

Encourage collaboration among team members and promote an inclusive working environment.

Understand human resources challenges in at least one sector served (e.g., Oil & Gas, Health, Telecommunications, Power & Utilities, Insurance, Media & Entertainment).

Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations.

Lead development of thought leadership and EY approaches, tools, and methodologies in organization design.

Coach and develop teams and colleagues, acting as a visible role model.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

Relevant professional service experience with a global management consultancy firm or niche consultancy, with exposure to large‑scale projects.

About 6‑9 years of experience in Operating Model Development, Organizational Structure and Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, Capability Mapping, Organizational Assessment, and Organizational Governance, with proven application of these capabilities.

Experience leading organizational design engagements in supply chain, IT, finance, customer, or sales & marketing domains, with multi‑disciplinary teams in enterprise‑wide transformations.

Proven track record in managing and analysing large datasets and using analytics to inform project execution, including digital asset use.

Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, psychology, or related field.

Willingness to travel as needed and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with an average of three days per week at a client site or EY office.

What We Offer You

A comprehensive compensation and benefits package, with base salary ranging from $125,900 to $231,100 (national) and higher ranges in select markets. The total rewards package includes medical, dental, pension, 401(k), and paid time off.

A flexible vacation policy allowing you to determine vacation time based on personal circumstances; time off for EY Paid Holidays, seasonal breaks, personal/family care, and other leaves of absence.

A hybrid model where most client‑serving roles collaborate in person 40‑60% of the time during engagements.
