The

Manager, Communications

will develop and execute strategic internal and external communication initiatives aligned with Lennar’s business objectives and culture. The role leads key communication programs, manages content creation, safeguards brand consistency, and collaborates with senior leadership and stakeholders across divisions. Responsibilities include crisis communications, employee engagement, and executive messaging. This position reports to the Director of Internal Communications and drives innovation in corporate storytelling and brand positioning.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee comprehensive communication strategies that enhance engagement and company‑wide alignment.

Lead content creation for intranet, newsletters, executive messaging, videos, speeches, and presentations.

Maintain and evolve the company’s internal brand voice and messaging for consistency across all platforms.

Advise executive leadership in crafting communications that reinforce corporate goals and values.

Drive employee engagement through storytelling, strategic messaging, and interactive content.

Collaborate with corporate teams, field leadership, and external partners to ensure seamless communication execution.

Manage communication projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives and branding standards.

Serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders, advising on best practices.

Oversee internal events and campaigns to boost associate engagement and culture initiatives.

Supervise and mentor communications team members as needed.

Analyze communication effectiveness through metrics, feedback, and reporting, and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Contribute to and maintain the corporate communications calendar, ensuring timely and strategic messaging.

Qualifications

5‑7 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, or a related field.

Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, business, marketing, or related discipline; Master’s degree an advantage.

Proven leadership experience in managing large‑scale communication programs, driving engagement, and advising senior executives.

Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.

Experience partnering with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Excellent project management skills, capable of leading multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, project management tools (e.g., Asana), and communication platforms (e.g., ServiceNow Employee Center Pro).

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements This is a primarily sedentary office position. The incumbent must be able to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
